These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of adhdskillscoach.com (the “Site”) and the coaching services offered by Elizabeth Sharpe, M.Ed., doing business as ADHD Skills Coach (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site or enrolling in coaching services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
We provide virtual, 100%-online coaching for children, teens, and adults ages 4–25, including ADHD Coaching, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Coaching, Executive Functioning Coaching, Emotional Regulation Coaching, Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD) Coaching, and Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) Coaching. Services are delivered by videoconference and are available to families throughout the United States.
Our coaching services are educational and skills-based. They are not a substitute for psychotherapy, psychiatric care, medical treatment, diagnosis, or any licensed clinical mental health service. Coaching does not involve the diagnosis or treatment of any mental health condition or disability. If you or your child are in crisis or need clinical treatment, please contact a licensed medical or mental health provider, or call or text 988 (the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or 911 in an emergency.
We make no guarantee regarding specific outcomes or results from coaching. Progress depends on many factors, including consistency of participation, and will vary from family to family.
Coaching is a private-pay service and is not billed to insurance. We do not provide superbills or documentation for insurance reimbursement unless separately agreed in writing. Payment plans may be available and will be discussed directly with you during your discovery call and confirmed in writing before services begin.
Specific scheduling, cancellation, and rescheduling policies — including any notice requirements or fees — will be provided to you at the time of enrollment and are considered part of these Terms once communicated. Please review that information carefully before your first session.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when completing our contact form and during coaching sessions. If coaching is for a minor child, a parent or legal guardian must complete the intake process, remain reasonably involved in the coaching process, and is responsible for the minor's participation and safety during virtual sessions.
We respect the privacy of what is discussed during coaching sessions and will not share it except: (a) with your consent, (b) as necessary to provide services (see our Privacy Policy), (c) if we become aware of information suggesting a risk of serious harm to a child or another person, or (d) as required by law. In such circumstances, we may take steps we believe appropriate, which may include contacting relevant authorities or recommending additional professional support.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Elizabeth Sharpe, M.Ed. and ADHD Skills Coach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site or coaching services. Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or our services is limited to the amount you paid for the services giving rise to the claim.
The Site and our services are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
All content on the Site — including text, graphics, logos, and coaching materials — is the property of Elizabeth Sharpe, M.Ed. unless otherwise noted, and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written permission.
Either party may discontinue coaching services at any time, subject to any notice requirements communicated at enrollment. We reserve the right to decline or discontinue services to any individual at our discretion, including for non-payment or conduct that is unsafe or abusive toward our staff.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, regardless of your state of residence.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
