30+ years of clinical experience, and a home life that puts every strategy to the test.
Elizabeth Sharpe is a Learning and Behavior Therapist and the founder of Sharpe Successful Solutions, LLC, the practice behind ADHD Skills Coach. With over 30 years of experience in child development and behavior intervention, she has built her career around one consistent belief: neurodiverse children are not broken, and their families do not need to white-knuckle their way through every day.
She holds degrees in Psychology and Education from UC Irvine and Washington State University, and has spent more than three decades working directly with children, teens, and the parents raising them. Her clinical expertise spans Anxiety, Aggression, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and Dyscalculia — a breadth of experience that shapes how she approaches every family she works with, even when a child's presentation does not fit neatly into a single diagnostic category.
Elizabeth is not only a clinician — she is a parent navigating this exact terrain at home. She and her husband of 26 years homeschool their three neurodiverse children, which means every strategy she recommends to a client family has already been tested against the real, unglamorous demands of daily life: the morning that falls apart, the meltdown at the worst possible moment, the sibling dynamics that no textbook fully prepares you for.
That dual vantage point — clinical training on one side, lived daily experience on the other — is why her coaching leans practical rather than theoretical. She is not interested in strategies that only work in a calm, controlled setting. She builds systems for families who are tired, stretched thin, and need something that holds up on a hard Tuesday.
Elizabeth is also an advocate for adoption, family connection, and inclusive education, causes that run alongside her clinical work rather than apart from it.
Every session is delivered virtually, which means location has never been a barrier to working with her. Over the course of her career, she has served families across eight states and Canada, and continues to expand her reach to new states regularly. Sessions are private-pay, with payment plans available, and every engagement starts with a free discovery call so a family can get a direct read on fit before committing to anything.
Elizabeth coaches across six specialized tracks — ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Executive Functioning, Emotional Regulation, Oppositional Defiant Disorder, and Pathological Demand Avoidance — and tailors her approach to whichever combination of challenges a specific child and family are actually facing, rather than applying a single one-size-fits-all program.
Every coaching track Elizabeth offers is built on the same practical, strength-based foundation described above, adapted to the specific profile of the child and family she's working with.
